3G GSM Network Performance Management Solution

US : DAX Technologies said it has agreed to supply network performance management software to Highland Cellular to support their new 3G GSM wireless network in their coverage area which includes Raleigh, Fayette, Mercer, Greenbrier, Summers, and Monroe counties in West Virginia and Tazewell and Bland counties in Virginia.

Highland Cellular said today that they have selected the Optima Network
Performance Solution from DAX Technologies for their new 3G Nortel GSM
wireless network. "With all of the challenges and uncertainty associated with
launching a 3G network, we just couldn't take any chances with a less
comprehensive network management solution. The DAX Optima product provides us
with a complete suite of network management tools to address the challenges of
supporting both a 2G TDMA and 3G GSM network simultaneously. Additionally,
the Optima Network Resource OptiMIZER(TM) module will enable us to stretch our
capital and operating budgets," says Jake Turner, VP of Technology for
Highland Cellular.

The DAX Optima wireless solution enables wireless providers to maximize
network performance while reducing network capital and ongoing operating
costs. The DAX Optima Wireless Solution provides an entire suite of fully
integrated, modular components consisting of the Optima Fault Management,
Performance Wizard, Sentinel Forecasting and Alerts, Network Resource
OptiMIZER(TM) and Executive Advisor. The DAX Optima Wireless solution
delivers wireless carriers a flexible and scalable solution, which supports
technology platforms for CDMA, TDMA, GSM, PCS, iDEN and AMPS. The
