RADVISION is the industry leader in providing solutions for the development of voice and video over IP and 3G wireless products and applications and has full operations, including support services, in Japan, where SANYO Multimedia Tottori is based. RADVISION's representative in Japan, NTT-ME, secured the contract and provided additional local technical support for the toolkit. This SIP-based IP-phone provides powerful IP functionality, toll-quality clarity, and supports a wide variety of traditional and advanced phone and calling features, including an integrated phone book, call history functionality, and multiline support. The device also includes many features required in daily business, including call hold, call transfer, call waiting, and three way calling. When integrated with a SIP server, the solution also supports advanced features such as call park/pickup and group pickup. The new SANYO phone was built in-house using RADVISION's easy-to-use, fully featured SIP Developer Toolkit for VxWorks. RADVISION's SIP Toolkit, available for a wide variety of operating systems including Windows, Solaris, Linux, VxWOrks, pSOS, Nucleus, and embedded Linux, features an open, object-oriented architecture, which makes it both programmer-friendly and highly flexible. It also features multiple layers of APIs, from high-level APIs that hide the complexity of the protocol and enable rapid development of applications, to mid- and low-level APIs that expose the intricacies of the protocol and allow for more detailed customization tuned to the specific requirements of the application or product. The SIP Toolkit contains a full library containing all SIP-specific functionality, including message encoding and decoding, transaction and call management, and many of the SIP extensions such as REFER, Replaces, PRACK, SUBSCRIBE-NOTIFY and more. The Toolkit also comes with SDP and RTP/RTCP libraries. About SANYO Multimedia Tottori SANYO Multimedia Tottori Co., Ltd. is one of the group company of SANYO Electric Co., Ltd.
