Innovative Mobile Music Application for Eurotel Jukebox

1st April , 2004

US : Chaoticom, Inc. announced today that the Chaoticom Mobile Music Solution was selected as the Most Innovative Mobile Music Application at the CTIA 2004 Mobile Music Awards. CTIA 2004 held in Atlanta on March 20th to 23rd , is the largest wireless show in the telecom industry bringing together the leading companies in the mobile telecom industry. The Mobile Music Conference was held concurrently with CTIA.

Chaoticom's mobile music solution enables mobile operators to offer full-track music downloading services on more than 15 handset models on mobile data networks. Handset models supported include those from Nokia, Motorola, Sony Ericsson, Siemens, Microsoft, and Sendo. The revolutionary KOZ encoding format makes real-time high quality mobile music downloads possible.

Chaoticom's mobile music solution is deployed at Eurotel under the "Eurotel Jukebox" brand. Justin Stockton, Director of Business Development at Eurotel Praha attended the show and co-presented a case study entitled "Launching a Mobile Music Downloading Service at Eurotel Praha." "We are pleased with the customer acceptance of the Eurotel Jukebox service," said Justin Stockton. "Chaoticom's turnkey platform has allowed us to bring music downloading to our customers in record time on handsets they already own and over our existing 2.5 G network. This is an ideal service that will begin to make mobile users aware of what will be possible with 3G." Early data shows that track downloading is preferred 4 to 1 over true-tone ringtones on the service. Content partners Warner Music International, Sony Music/Bonton, and BMG Czech Republic provide music for the Eurotel Jukebox. Telenor Mobil has also announced that they have selected the Chaoticom mobile music solution for their djuice brand of services.

Chaoticom's mobile music solution enables mobile customers to select, download and store the latest chart hits via their GPRS-enabled mobile handset along with related content such as master-recording ring tones and wallpapers. Built-in digital rights management features prevent unauthorized sharing of the music tracks.
