Part 3G Networks In Finland

19th April , 2004

Europe : To speed up the introduction and to curtail the cost of implementing 3G in Finland, it has been agreed that the 3G Operators can share their networks.

In fact, it will be possible for the operators to also share the build and implementation of a part of the nationwide 3G network provided each operator introduces and maintains at least 33% of the total network.

The four operators concerned are TeliaSonera, Tele2, Finnish Elisa and DNA. Telia will be the first to launch in 2004.
