According to Gartner Dataquest Analyst Michael King, "Gartner Dataquest estimates that there will be 65.7 million CDMA subscribers in North America by the year end of 2002, making it the largest CDMA market in the world."

"As a company, we've taken the vision of real-time, high-speed wireless data access and turned it into a reality. Sierra Wireless will continue to build its long-standing relationships with the North American carriers to deliver mobile solutions that operate on new CDMA networks. The company has enjoyed a successful history of delivering innovative wireless products that operate on CDMA networks including the AirCard® 510, the world's first CDMA IS-95A Type II PC Card; the SB555 embedded module, integrated into the new Audiovox Thera - one of the first wireless enabled Pocket PC devices to operate on CDMA2000 1X networks; the AirCard 555, the first dual band CDMA2000 1X PC card in North America now available through Bell Mobility, TELUS Mobility, and Verizon Wireless; and most recently the PCS Connection Card (AirCard 550) now operating on the Sprint Nationwide PCS Network. The unique design also offers maximum coverage and access to complete CDMA networks including existing IS95A networks, and the new CDMA2000 1X high-speed network ensuring complete access - anywhere, anytime.
