Picture shows : MetroReach Focus meets those challenges head on with an innovative, 3G-compatible optical broadband solution that extends network capacity quickly and at tremendous savings. LGC Wireless is expanding their presence into Europe, specifically in Paris, France and Frankfurt, Germany. Attention in these regions will be geared toward in-building wireless and 3G networks. "With successful installs in some of the most recognizable buildings in England, such as London Heathrow and Manchester United Stadium, it was a natural fit for us to expand further into the European market," says Ian Sugarbroad, president and CEO of LGC Wireless. "With 3G roll-out, our products will handle capacity demand and maximize performance indoors." In addition to Heathrow, LGC Wireless' products are installed at Gatwick and London City Airport. Their presence in England also includes installs at SGRS Harbour Exchange, BP - St. James, Vodafone, Canary Wharf, JP Morgan, White Rose Shopping Mall, and British Midland. In addition, installations have occurred at Telfort in Holland and Societie Generale in France. LGC Wireless' expansion into the European market is supported by two new hires, Yves George in France and Dieter Buttenbender in Germany. George has an extensive telecommunications background as the former director of France Tesaria, director of strategy and marketing for Motorola and as director for Broadband Wireless Solutions. Buttenbender has more than 16 years experience in the telecommunications industry, holding various positions at Bosch Telecom in their network equipment sector and at Motorola where he worked in the network solutions sector. The
expansion into France and Germany compliments LGC Wireless' existing
presence in the United Kingdom. The Cambourne Business Park office provides
sales, support and services to LGC Wireless' customers in the United
Kingdom and Europe
