Fiber Management Trays. The two-year agreement calls for H3G to use a wide array of ADC products ranging from digital signal cross connects (DSX), optical cross connects (OX), FiberGuide(R) fiber cabling systems, FL2000 wall and rack-mount panels, fiber management trays, and patch cords in addition to other connectivity gear produced by ADC. The products are approved for use throughout H3G in Italy as it builds out existing and new base stations and transmission sites. "The
agreement with ADC is another step in our strategy to carry out high-quality
infrastructures and technological platforms," said Bob Fuller,
H3G CEO. "Joined with the exclusive content we have acquired, it
will let us present a winning offer to the market." "It's
clear that successful networks must be based on infrastructure designed
to grow with the network," said Pat O'Brien, vice president of
ADC's Connectivity Business Unit. "ADC is pleased to help establish
a solid network foundation rooted in connectivity, and further our relationship
as the Hutchison Whampoa Group builds a quality 3G network through its
affiliates in Europe." |
