Free Shazam On The Nokia Ovi Store

UK : Shazam have announced that they will release their music application free on the Ovi store.

The offer is on a first come first served basis for a limit time (the end of November).

Shazam enables users to identify tracks that are currently playing if you don’t know the title or who it’s by. In order to identify a track you merely hold your phone to the music and in 10 seconds the application will tell you the track name and artist.

Once identifying the track it can automatically redirect you to the Nokia music store where you can purchase the track. Additionally, you can send your “tagged” tracks to your friends by SMS so they can check out the latest hot tracks!

The free “trial” lasts for 30 days , with the full version of the software costing just £4.

The Shazam applications works on all S60 3.1 , 3.2 and 5.0 mobiles.
