Europe : News is ripe that Motorola is preparing an App store for Android smartphones. It looks as though it’s been named SHOP4APPS which all seems a bit cumbersome.
One website ( anroidandme.com ) says that the App store is web orientated and can be surfed via an Android phone such as the Motorola Droid. It also seems that a MotoAppStore client is being developed for Android which will provide a widget for loading SHOP4APPS.
The App store, when ready, can be used to download Android apps to your mobile phone via PC and directly from your phone. It also been reported that there is MyLocker facility, new version App notification and you can also re download and transfer Apps to a new phone.
