NASA iPhone Application Launched

Europe : NASA has launched a new application for the iPhone that delivers a wealth of information to users.

 

The application gives details of current NASA mission, gives access to the latest NASA photos and videos and the latest NASA social network updates.

 

The missions home screen shows all the current NASA missions, which when clicked bring up detailed information about each mission. Select missions also enable you to view the latest position of the orbiter.

 

The images screen will display the NASA image of the day and the Astronomy Picture of the Day, both with descriptions of what they show.

 

The videos screen shows all the videos uploaded to Youtube by NASA and enables you to watch them on your iPhone.

 

The “updates” screen gives you all the latest Twitter updates from NASAs various twitter accounts straight onto your iPhone.

 

The NASA iPhone application can be downloaded free from the App Store.
