New Nokia Messaging For Social Networking Beta Adds Twitter Support

Europe : Nokia have announced the release of second beta of Nokia Messaging for Social Networks.

The main addition to the new release is that Twitter support has been added to this version of Nokia Messaging.

The social networking aspect of Nokia Messaging enables you to view newsfeeds from your social networks , such as Facebook, on your mobiles homescreen, respond to posts via comment, SMS or call and to post your location to your social network through the use of Nokia Ovi Maps.

The addition of Twitter alone is a huge deal for Nokia users, but that isn’t the only improvement this release of Nokia Messaging for Social networks brings.

It also adds new functionality for pre-existing social networks, such as full profile support for Facebook and the ability to call Facebook friends straight from Facebook. Additionally, it also brings together your own calendar and your Facebook calendar to ensure you have a complete birthday and event list on your mobile.

You can also easily upload photos to your Facebook profile and beta 2 also adds video uploaiding capability.
