Deutsche
Telekom to Launch 3G 2003 3Q |

The German telecommunications giant Deutsche Telekom said it would launch commercial 3G mobile phone services in Germany from the third quarter of the current year. The group told a telecoms congress Wednesday that it planned to have the third generation of multi-media mobile phones services, dubbed Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS), up and running by the third quarter of 2003. |

phones may overheat. The problem is due to a hardware conflict between
the battery pack and the handset, which in rare instances causes a glitch
