US : Wachovia Securities have moved Lucent Technologies ( LU ) from "underperform" to "outperform". Shares are currently trading at $4.61. The analysts at Wachovia also say that Lucent's share price is likely to increase by 25% in the near term and that the company's 3G trial run with AT&T Wireless has been continuing successfully. Lucent Technologies is entering into the 3G sector with AT&T Wireless in 2004, which is likely to boost earnings. |
