: The British mobile content developer and publisher Touchlink Mobile
and one of the world fastest growing mobile phone operators Hutchison
have agreed on launching three Touchlink games on 3G networks in
UK with intent of their further distribution to other Hutchison
channels worldwide.
The Touchlink
games, which had a big success on GSM networks, have been ported
to 3G handsets exclusively for Hutchison by Touchlink Development
Team, located in Ukraine. The agreement between Touchlink and Hutchison
was signed in October 2004.
The operator
is planning to launch the first game, 'Galactic Rebellion', at the
end of January in United Kingdom.
Two
more games, 'Dangerous Roads' and 'Deep Patrol' will be launched
in UK in February and March 2005 respectively. Also during 2005
these applications are expected to go online on Hutchison 3G networks
in Australia, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Macao, New
Zealand, Thailand and Sweden. The ported games are:
"Galactic
Rebellion" - a strategy game, where the player has to set his
dominance over the Galaxy.
"Dangerous Roads" - a race game, which offers the player
to fight against ruthless enemies on different vehicles full of
weapons.
"Deep Patrol" - one of the most dynamic shooters, ported
to 3G handsets, where the player has to shoot various enemies flying
in the spacecraft.
