Samsung has announced four new smartphones that are all members of the Samsung Galaxy family.
The new smartphones all run on the Android operating system and hope to meet the diverse needs and demands of current and future smartphone users. They all feature multi-media capability and a social hub to keep in contact with friends and family. They all also come equipped with WiFi which enables easy access to the internet.
The first of the new mobiles is the Samsung Galaxy Ace (pictured above) which is designed for young trendy professionals. It has a simple but elegant design and features a 3.5 inch touch-screen. It is powered by an 800 MHz processor , has a 5 mega-pixel camera with LED flash, Bluetooth , 3G and is powered by Android 2.2.
The Galaxy Ace is available right now in Russia and is coming to other European countries and China very soon. We heard earlier today that the Samsung Galaxy Ace is coming to Three in the UK
The second mobile to be confirmed is the Samsung Galaxy Fit which aims to cater for the busy professional who also has a busy social life. It has a 3.3 inch touch-screen, 5 mega-pixel camera , 600MHz processor. 256MB RAM and a 3.5 mm headphone socket..
The Samsung Galaxy Fit also comes pre-loaded with Office Viewer, which enables you to view all your work files on your mobile. The Samsung Galaxy Fit is launching in Russia in February and will be gradually rolled out across Europe.
The Samsung Galaxy Gio was also announced which is a stylish mobile aimed at young professionals. The Gio, which comes from the Italian for Jewel, is aimed at those who value beauty in their mobile.
However, it also has excellent features including an 800 MHz processor, 3.2 inch touch-screen, 3.2 mega-pixel camera with LED flash, 3G, Bluetooth and WiFi support. Like all the other mobiles it runs on Android 2.2 and also features a 3.5 mm headphone socket and a microUSB port.
The Samsung Galaxy Gio is available in Russia and will be launching across Europe at a later date.
The final mobile unveiled was the Samsung Galaxy Mini which is an ideal first smartphone for youngsters. It comes with a flashy colour stripe along the side and is ideal for those who want small mobile that is great fun.
The specification includes a 600 MHz processor, 3.2 inch touch-screen, 3.3 mega-pixel camera, 3G , WiFi , Bluetooth and a 3.5 mm headphone socket. The Samsung Galaxy Mini is available in Russia now and will gradually roll-out across Europe.
