Fifteen
real-life 3G applications, including real-time sports apps, face-to-face
video calling and exciting team games, are being delivered to 40 operators
by Ericsson so they can demonstrate to their customers just what the
Mobile Internet is all about.
Showcasing the impressive range and versatility of the Mobile Internet, the 15 apps chosen for inclusion in initial WCDMAroll-outs will all be available to operators for demonstrations and marketing activities until July 1, 2003.
“The 3G applications delivered to the initial WCDMA systems are all really exciting,” says Ericsson’s Kevin Nicholl. “They are interactive, have rich content, great graphics and all of them use bandwidths provided by WCDMA.”

NetMeeting Application
NetMeeting lets you talk to another user, face-to-face over WCDMA in
real-time. This can also be combined with data conferencing.

Wireless VideoTelephony from Emblaze Systems enables two-way, real-time
audio and video communication.

Blå Coordinator is a workforce management application offering
users easy dispatching, including work orders, scheduling, supervising
and reporting in real time.

Sea Wars is a game application putting the user in charge of a fleet
of war ships. The game can be played in single or multi-player mode.

Using 3D animation technology, users are able to add amusing and entertaining
additions to their messages by creating an animated greeting card.
MOSO
MOSO, based on Microsoft Mobile Information Server (MMIS) platform,
is a software solution providing users with secure mobile access to
corporate e-mail and PIM services.

Internet Web browsing allows the user to access and browse the Internet
from a mobile device.

The MMS composer includes all the functionality needed to send, receive
