All compliant with CDMA 1XRTT and CDMA 1xEV-DO standards, the AWT6112, AWT6113 and AWT6114, cover CDMA/AMPS applications, North American PCS applications, and Korean PCS applications, respectively. The InGaP HBT (indium gallium phosphide hetrojunction bipolar transistor) modules offer selectable bias modes that optimize efficiency for different output levels, and a shutdown mode with low leakage current. The self-contained 4mm x 4mm surface mount packages incorporate matching networks optimized for output power, efficiency and linearity in a 50 system. "The addition of our new small form factor power amplifier products further strengthens our high quality line of industry-leading CDMA modules and addresses the industry drive toward higher levels of integration and smaller handsets," remarked Dr. Bami Bastani, President and CEO of ANADIGICS, Inc. "ANADIGICS continues to gain position in the CDMA handset market on the strength of our products' proven reliability and performance, as evidenced by our strategic relationships with key CDMA handset manufacturers and growing market share." Dr. Ali Khatibzadeh, Vice President of Wireless Products at ANADIGICS, Inc. adds, "While our competitors are moving to more expensive multi-layer module technology to achieve similar size reduction, our differentiated design know-how has enabled us to make the size transition using existing high volume single-layer laminate technology with proven manufacturing and quality." |
