In the short term MMS ( multi media messaging ) will be the killer application in Korea which should open the doors for mass take up of 3G during the latter part of 2004. This is good news for UMTS as this is an important target area for LG. LG is currently a fast moving player in the GSM area selling over 10 million GSM handsets and intends to become one of the top three telecom players in .2005. |
