The information further confirms the shift in Japan from 2G to 3G networks. On the other hand KDDI had over 340,000 less for its 2G service which was expected as a result of the migration to 3G. The data supplied by KDDI outlines strong growth with 14.6 Million 2G and 3G subscribers up till now. A study by KDDI also shows that 50% of 3G video phone subscribers users have sent video messages 2 or 3 times a week and 10% sending video messages every day. In conclusion, KDDI had an increase of some 175,000 lifting its all inclusive subscriber base to 18.4 million. |
