Construction of CDMA450 Wireless in Portugal

ASIA : The professional European wireless operator Inquam chooses Huawei Technologies as its strategic partner to build a nationwide CDMA450 network for Radiometer, its subsidiary in Portugal. The network has now gone through the construction and testing. This symbolizes the first commercial application of CDMA450 in Western Europe and the startup of the global cooperation between Inquam and Huawei.

As an advocator and leading supplier of CDMA450, Huawei delivers a complete set of end-to-end CDMA450 solutions from main equipment and service platform to handsets and fixed stations. For the CDMA450 network in Portugal, Huawei supplies the IMT2000-based base station subsystem (BSS) and serialized terminals. Apart from basic voice services, the Push-To-Talk (PTT), location service including gpsOne, and EV-DO packet data and multi-media services are also provided.
