Europe : : Challenger mobile is about to launch its services over the 3G network. The release means that all Challenger mobile customers will very soon be able to enjoy all the mobile savings and benefits using both WiFi and 3G.

Anyone With a Nokia Eseries, N80ie or N95 Phone Can Soon Make Their Internet Calls Over 3G Thanks to Challenger mobile's Upcoming Release

"We are very excited to offer our services over 3G since it will make them more widely accessible. If you think about it, WiFi and 3G are really complementary -- you may use WiFi whenever you are close to a hotspot (around an office or airport) and 3G almost anywhere else.

Here at Challenger, we still recommend WiFi over 3G wherever possible since WiFi generally provides higher connection quality and in most cases also a lower cost of data transfer," says Carl-Johan Grund, Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer of Challenger mobile.

Challenger mobile does not only serve end customers through its own web channel, but also provides its fully hosted (and white label) service to mobile operators, enablers and service providers all over the world. "Following strong demand from both the consumer and business segments, we are happy to provide our technology through partnership channels that align well with our own beliefs and strategies. Companies seeking to enter the mobile VoIP market can take advantage of our platform that today includes more than 6 years of development. A mobile VoIP offering can generally be made available within a matter of weeks," says Carl-Johan Grund.
