Europe Germany : At the TD-SCDMA Evolution and LTE Summit in Shanghai, Rohde & Schwarz held a presentation on LTE measurement challenges and solutions, and demonstrated initial 3GPP LTE TDD functionality based on the R&S SMU200A signal generator and R&S FSG signal
analyzer ( inset above ).
The TD-SCDMA Evolution and LTE Summit in Shanghai provided a neutral platform for discussions on the TD-SCDMA evolutionary path and LTE technologies, market strategies, product solutions and roadmaps. In addition, it offered an opportunity to gain insight into trial TD-SCDMA commercial service, which was launched on April 1, 2008, and which will be tested by public users during the Olympic Games in Beijing this summer. The latest TD SCDMA and LTE achievements were presented.
Rohde & Schwarz's presentation on LTE measurement challenges and solutions provided an excellent stage for showcasing the company’s portfolio. Using the R&S SMU signal generator and the R&S FSG signal analyzer, the company demonstrated initial 3GPP LTE TDD functionality.
A member of TD-SCDMA forum, Rohde & Schwarz has a strong interest in promoting the development of the standard and provided the first TD-SCDMA realtime test solutions.
