Mobile TV Experience to iPhone Subscribers

Mobile TV Experience to iPhone Subscribers

6th July , 2009

France : A new solution allows mobile operators to offer iPhone subscribers a mobile TV experience. The service has already been adopted by a leading European telecom provider.

The companies involved are Streamezzo and Atos Worldline and they have partnered to provide a live mobile TV application for the iPhone.  It’s a ready-to-go service that offers the full functionality of Mobile TV e.g. Live TV via embedded video player, channel grid and an electronic program guide. The iPhone itself provides an excellent user experience and navigation.

The companies have adopted the service so that it can be customized to the requirements of any operator with regards to style and use. It can also be tailored with additional services such as fast channel switching, on demand video library and personal video recording.

It can completely be re-used for other mobile platforms including Android, BlackBerry, Java, Linux, Symbian and Windows Mobile – which means that can extend their reach in terms of subscribers and accelerate their return on investment.
