Most Reliable US 3G Network in Comparison Tests
10th July , 2009
US : Have you ever wondered which is the most reliable 3G wireless network in the US. Well, 3G tests were conducted earlier this year by PC World which found that Sprint had better all round network reliability than Verizon and AT&T.
Tests were conducted throughout 13 cities across the US such as Seattle, Chicago, Boston and New York. Tests were conducted which recorded 3G download rate, 3G upload rate and reliability of connections.
The results showed that Sprint was better than AT&T for reliability and looking at an overview of results Sprint was also more reliable than Verizon. In some cities Sprint achieved perfect scoring for connection reliability.
Other noteable points were that Sprint’s Now Network was singled out for its speed. Sprint was competitive with Verizon and AT&T on download speed and was notably faster with better reliability compared with both competitors in the major West Coast cities of Seattle, San Francisco, Portland and San Diego.
The PC World results also show that Sprint’s commitment to network performance is paying off for the company’s customers. Today, according to customers and third-party reports, Sprint’s networks have never been better, with these results serving as further confirmation that Sprint operates the nation’s most dependable 3G broadband network.1
