O2 App Showndown with £10,000 Prize

UK : O2 have announced “The O2 App Showdown”, which is a competition to find the best new iPhone App.
The competition has a prize of £10,000 and the winner will be chosen by the iPhone user community, with all O2 iPhone customers eligible to vote!


The “O2 App Showdown” will open on Monday 20th July and will run for 2 months. The winning entrant will have their app promoted to O2 iPhone customers, in addition to the £10.000 prize.


Peter Rampling, O2’s Marketing Director said: “Since we launched Litmus last year, we’ve seen some fantastic innovation and I believe that working together with the world-wide Litmus community we can develop amazing applications for O2 customers, initially on iPhone and then all our devices – the beauty of Litmus is that we will have a community of O2 customers who will also vote for their favourite.”
