First i-Mode Shop In Europe in The Hague, Holland

Mobile opens the first i-mode store in Europe, a unique shop format where
everyone interested in i-mode can have a hands-on introduction. Experience
i-mode at first hand, build an i-mode site, see new i-mode services, have
a drink and buy an i-mode handset - it's all possible in this new store
format. The store is located on Lange Poten in the centre of The Hague.
i-mode content partners play an important role in the i-mode store through
interactive introductions to their new and existing services.
The
i-mode store can't be compared to a conventional shop. The i-mode store
format is based on the principle that visitors can learn everything about
i-mode through experience, advice and service. All aspects of i-mode have
their own place in the store; services, handsets, content partners and
personal applications.
The
store's layout and decoration is designed to stimulate visitors to active
involvement and exploration. The store is divided into three zones:

the "confrontation zone", introducing visitors to i-mode;
- the "information & content zone", where information about
i-mode can be seen and experienced;
- the "experience zone", where visitors can build their own
i-mode site. Expert personnel are on hand to give demonstrations and advise
on purchasing, as well providing workshops in building i-mode sites.
The i-mode store is open from 11:00 to 20:00 hrs from Monday to Saturday
and on Sundays from 12:00 to 18:00 hrs.
As
enterprises equip more employees with PDAs, they must understand the total
