| RFI Invests In 3G |

For the past year, engineers from RFI have been supporting customers in Japan working with ORIX Rentec Corporation (ORC), providing laboratory support, training, project management and sales support for the roll out ORC's wireless conformance services including Bluetooth and SAR testing. More recently RFI secured an important validation contract with Anritsu for its 3G products. RFI's managing director,
Stephen Kirk is keen to build on existing relationships with Japanese
customers such as ORIX Rentec Corporation and Anritsu. He commented,
"The Japanese market is one of the largest for Bluetooth and 3G
development. It is an exciting market and one that RFI considers very
important. We are committed to supporting customers with our expertise
in Bluetooth and SAR testing and training, and in the provision of 3G
validation services. Our decision to invest is a demonstration of our
long term commitment to the Asian market place". |

Telecom Systems has signed a second deal with Taiwan-based 3G operator
Asia Pacific Broadband Wireless Communications (APBW) to supply its world
leading settlement solution InterconnecT(tm). |
J-PHONE
it will offer two new Sha-mail picture messaging handsets, the J-D08 by
Mitsubishi Electric and the J-T010 by Toshiba, for sale after early July. |
