|
The T226 is light and compact and offers a rich colour screen, whose high pixel density LCD screen supports advanced image viewing and an impressive mobile gaming experience. With Picture Caller ID as a standard feature of the T226, users see not only the phone number, but also the photo of their callers. The phone can double as a speakerphone when connected to Sony Ericsson’s Desk Speaker Stand CSS-20 for times at home or in the office when handsfree calling is a must. The fun experience is enhanced by the rich, 32-tone polyphonic sound that greets users with a separate speaker just for ring tones. The T226 even lets users record their own voice and use it as a ring tone. For gaming, users will appreciate the added fun of a five-way joystick for enhanced mobile game play. Users of the T226 can take advantage of the phone’s Mophun gaming engine for the widest selection of downloadable colour games. The Sony Ericsson T226 unit is compact, measuring just 3.9 x 1.7 x 0.75 inches and weighing only 2.6 ounces. It has powerful battery life, averaging 7.5 hours talk time and 275 hours stand-by time. The T226 is a dual-band 850/1900 MHz GSM/GPRS phone and will be commercially available in Q3 2003 in the Americas; the CommuniCamTM MCA-25 camera and the Desk Speaker Stand CSS-20 accessories are sold separately. |
