The E700A have been garnering positive accolades from reviewers, critics and consumers alike since its December 2003 launch in Singapore. It is the first camera phone in Singapore to allow users to take 15 consecutive photos at the press of a button. Boasting an external 256-colour OLED screen and an internal 65,536 TFT-LCD color screen, the Java-enabled SGH-E700A is also equipped with superior 40-chord polyphonic ring tones. Its self-portrait camera function allows a user to view their image through the external OLED screen. Mr. Ng Long Shyang, General Manager for Telecommunications Products (Mobile Phones), Electronics Business Division of SAMSUNG Asia Pte Ltd, said, "We are extremely proud of all our phones, and especially the E700A - this incredibly stylish phone has become a "must-have" for the fashionable and the hip. Indeed, sales were higher than our expectations and the demand for the E700A is still very strong. We are confident that our phones will do well during the Awards." The SGH-T500 has been nominated for "Best Female Phone" for being a true lady's mobile phone with its multiple features meant for women. This attractive clamshell can track biorhythms, fatness levels, calorie count and its Pink schedule even tracks a woman's menstrual cycle! Furthermore, the T500 is complete with cubic zirconia lining its external screen, and an internal screen that can function as a hand mirror. The SGH-V200 and the SGH-C100 has been nominated for "Most Innovative Phone", and "Best Youth Phone" and "Best Entry-Level Phone" respectively. The SGH-V200 features the world's First 180° Free-Rotating Camera Lens in a mobile phone, with digital zoom and brightness control function. When it was first launched, the C100 was the slimmest colour screen mobile phone ever with a design philosophy inspired by Zen minimalism. Packed with the latest features, the SGH-C100 became a hit with trendy and fashionable consumers, winning them over with its simplicity and elegance. The awards ceremony will take place at The China Club on 16 June 2004. |
