Mats Svensson ( above ) of Enea will be presenting OSE 5.1 at 'Riding The Waves..', the next seminar in the Embedded Masterclass series, to be held in Bracknell on the 14th June. The latest version of OSE, version 5.1, has been developed to meet the needs of the major mobile developers fighting for market share in the 3G space. Mats Svensson has been a consultant with Enea since 1998. After his M.Sc. education at Lund Institute of Technology in Lund, Sweden, Mats has spent several years working with the OSE operating system in large-scale mobile telephone projects. Mats currently works as Enea's technical representative in OMTP, a market-wide initiative to create an open mobile telephone platform. Mats presentation will discuss such issues as how OSE provides support for multi CPU platforms in mixed DSP-ARM environments and how demand paging for NAND flash devices will reduce the cost of phone development. Other presentations at 'Riding the Waves...' will include a look at digital TV on mobile phones, cache analysis to provide better performance and smaller code, UML modelling for wireless developers and a look at future trends in silicon and virtual prototyping. There will also be key industry vendors exhibiting their latest technology for the wireless space. The Embedded Masterclass series of seminars are free to embedded engineers and industry professionals. For the full agenda and registration, visit http://www.embedded-masterclass.co.uk |
