Vyke Mobile Offers Low Cost International Calls

24th June , 2009

UK : Vyke Communications has released its Vyke Mobile application for integrated mobile voice over internet protocol communication service for full commercial use.

Vyke Mobile, previously called Vyke Air during its development and beta release phases, is a Symbian-based mobile software suite that, along with many other features, integrates the following primary services into an easy to use, address-book based interface:

  • Free Vyke-to-Vyke calls and texts via WiFi
  • Outbound calls to any number worldwide with up to 95% savings via WiFi
  • Outbound calls to any number worldwide with up to 65% savings outside a WiFi area.
  • Outbound texts to any number worldwide with up to 95% savings

Vyke Mobile's user interface has been based upon the mobile phone's standard address book, text and calling menus, which allow customers to take full advantage of Vyke's operator independent services, whilst the ease of use is on a par with using one's mobile phone conventionally.

Vyke Mobile has been designed to support multiple sales channels such as domestic use, small to medium enterprise users and corporate users though www.vyke.com and a network of distributors and resellers world-wide.

Tommy Jensen, Executive Chairman, commented:
"We are pleased that Vyke Mobile is now released for full commercial service, which we have been developing since 2008 and which represents a sizable investment in terms of resources and capital. We have designed Vyke Mobile around the way that people actually use their phones on a daily basis and I am very pleased to report that all user reports have been glowing in terms of the ease of use and quality of service. I am looking forward to the positive contributions that I believe Vyke Mobile will make to the development of the company."
