The VM30i is packed with many advanced features including NTT DoCoMo approved i-Mode step2 browser and Doja gaming engine, VGA camera, a large 65K colour TFT LCD, MP3 player with SD card storage, GPRS tri-band communications, polyphonic ring tones, voice recorder and many other exciting and innovative features. “The VM30i launch for the Christmas campaign of 2003 has topped a very successful year for VITELCOM. Sales of our products in Southern Europe and South America have passed all expectations,” says Carlos Carrero President and CEO of VITELCOM, “we look forward to continuing this success as we expand into other key markets, especially Europe during 2004. The i-mode market in Europe has recently reached the 2 millions subscribers and we believe that it will grow to 5 millions within 2004. VITELCOM will launch several other i-Mode step2 products during the first half of 2004 including VM30iv that adds video recorder and video player to the existing long list of features. VITELCOM continues to show its commitment to i-Mode with the planned launch of its first i-Mode step3 product later in 2004. VITELCOM continues to offer products for the rest of the world based on WAP/MMS technology and they will launch an ultra slim camera phone during the first half of 2004. VITELCOM offers a flexible technology platform and a “white label” business model to allow their clients to fully customise their product offer including unique user interfaces, dedicated applications and exclusive product branding. Vitelcom also offers after marketing capabilities including distribution of accessories and applications including multi media gaming.
