: Nokia announced three new mobile holders for in-car communication*.
These versatile additions to Nokia's Automotive range can be used with
a wide variety of Nokia mobile phones plus other manufacturers products
and include holder solutions for UMTS and folding phones as well as
a universal system for a variety of phones.
Introducing the first holder for UMTS phones, The Nokia Mobile Holder
CR-27 is specially designed for use with Nokia's UMTS handsets including
the Nokia 6680. Its elegant design complements the style of compatible
mobile phones and there's an integrated dual-mode antenna coupler for
connection to an external antenna, which gives users access to both
GSM and UMTS networks.
A hold over folding phones
The 3GSM World Congress in mid-February saw Nokia reveal a new addition
to its range of folding phones, the Nokia 6101, and today Nokia unveils
an accompanying mobile holder for the vehicle: the CR-34. The holder
is expressly tailored to the phone's contours and represents a completely
new holder concept, with which the mobile phone can be used either folded
or unfolded.
Multipurpose mobility: a holder to fit different mobile devices
Users of mobile devices are enjoying the benefits of Nokia handsfree
solutions, which have broad compatibility. The new Nokia Universal Holder
represents another important step toward solutions with universal usability.
This stylish holder is designed to work with a wide range of Nokia mobile
devices and phones made by other manufacturers.
The new Nokia mobile holders are expected to be available as of second
quarter 2005 in Europe, Asia and the USA.
