Europe : 3, the UK's first video mobile network, today announced a new price plan, Text & Talk 400 and the launch of a video calling promotion.

3's new price plan, Text & Talk 400, is on sale today and is designed for customers that love to text. Text & Talk 400 offers 300 any network, anytime text messages and 100 any network, anytime voice minutes for just £30 a month.

Designed to appeal to 3's core target market, Text and Talk 400 is a straightforward, good value price plan. It joins 3's best selling package Talk and Text 600, which offers customers 500 any network, anytime voice minutes and 100 any network anytime texts also for £30 a month.

The new package has been designed to meet a demand from customers for a large bundle of text messages, combined with any network anytime voice minutes.

Video calling offer
3 also announced a promotion on the cost of making a video call, from today it will cost only 20p a minute to video call another 3 customer, a saving of 30p per minute for the 2.5 million customers on 3's network in the UK.

This video calling promotion runs for seven months, until September 30. The cost of video calls to other 3G networks now falls to 50p per minute.

New text message add-ons
3 has introduced two new text add-ons that mean text heavy customers can customise their own price plans with new text bundles. The first new bundle is, Text 500, offering 500 any network, anytime text messages for £20 a month, the second, Text 1000, offers 1000 any network anytime texts for £40 a month, both these add-ons equate to 4p a text message.
