US : X-TEL Communications announced the introduction of X-TEL's X-PEDite hand held air interface testing tool. X-PEDite runs on test mobiles with Symbian OS and is based on X-TEL's industry leading Xi data collection and analysis platform.

Enabled on the Nokia 6630, engineers have the ability to perform in-building and drive testing data collection for voice, data and video applications. X-PEDite includes GSM and WCDMA forcing functions and cell barring control, which make it ideal for site turn ups. Data can be saved and processed with X-TEL's advanced Rush Street analysis tool.
