Unity Wireless to Supply China's ZTE Corporation

22nd March , 2006

us : Unity Wireless announced that it has won a significant portion of a bid to supply China's ZTE Corporation with power amplifiers for the production of 450MHz, 800MHz and 1,900MHZ base stations in 2006.

Unity Wireless has already received purchase orders under the bid for more than $275,000 of products to be delivered beginning immediately. Based on ZTE's production forecast, the company expects that revenues from the bid will exceed $3 million through the balance of 2006. Each product was previously qualified by ZTE, and sales of these products to ZTE will represent ongoing revenue for products currently in production.

Ms. Yan Ng PhD, Director of OEM Business Development in the Asia Pacific region, commented, "The China market has always been important for Unity Wireless. We maintain a local office and customer support personnel in China to provide this growing market with superior customer support. Winning this bid strengthens our position in this market, and positions us to further expand our market share when China releases 3G licenses."
