SK Telecom Mobile Business Cooperation |

ASIA : SK Telecom announced that the company signed an MOU for mobile business cooperation with SAP, a worldwide software solution developer based in Germany,. This agreement will initiate the joint offering of mobile services and solutions to corporate clients. Kyu Kwan Lim, vice-president and head of SK Telecom's Solution Business Division, and Neong Yui Han, president of SAP Korea, oversaw the MOU Signing Ceremony. In the MOU, the two companies agree to conduct joint technological support and marketing of SK Telecom's mobile phone service and SAP's mobile solution. The two companies will also conduct joint overseas operation of the mobile solution for corporate clients. Kyu Kwan Lim, vice-president and head of SK Telecom's Business Solution Division stated, "This strategic alliance is particularly important because it creates a new business model that combines mobile communications with corporate business solutions. Corporate clients can build a more efficient computer work environment based on this mobile solution." Neong Yui Han, president of SAP Korea, also stated, "SAP has the best technological expertise in the mobile solution industry. Our substantial business cooperation with SK Telecom has laid the groundwork for creating a new business model that allows timely responses to the corporate clients' mobile business demands. Similar business models are expected to be introduced to the market, in the future". SAP is a worldwide software solution developer based in Germany. The company has been providing business solutions to about 22,600 corporate clients in 120 countries worldwide. The size of its sales revenue has reached 9.5 trillion Korean won. |
