Vodafone Italy Select OSS Wireless Solution

US : AIRCOM International have announced that their Performance Management Solution 'OPTIMA' has been selected by Vodafone Italy to manage the performance of their Multi Vendor (Nokia & Nortel) UMTS Network. In addition, OPTIMA will also be used to deliver fully integrated 2G, 2.5G and 3G performance engineering across Vodafone Italy.

OPTIMA will be used by Vodafone Italy to address Network Performance, Network Optimisation, Network Monitoring and Performance Alarming from a single platform.

AIRCOM Managing Director Dr Stephen Mockford was delighted stating: 'Working with an industry leader such as Vodafone Italy in GSM and UMTS Performance Management is hugely important to AIRCOM. OPTIMA is already being used by several large 2G-3G network operators across Europe, delivering true multi-vendor performance engineering together with user-configurable reporting, analysis and data views.
