Among the phones being demonstrated at SVIAZ Expo Comm are the PG-8000 and PG-6100, two unique additions to Pantech’s world class product line up. The two new handsets, featuring an array of innovative functions, are designed to provide users with a world class camera phone experience.
The PG-8000, which contains a 2.1M Pixel CCD camera, is fully equipped with functions like MP3, FM radio, Bluetooth functionality and intenna design. The PG-6100, which features a 2.0M Pixel CMOS camera, also contains photo caller ID, video caller, Bluetooth functionality and a voice memo system. Pantech recently introduced its new Power-Pixel phone series to Russia last month. The initial models in the Power-Pixel series are the PG-3000 and GF500, both of which are designed with leading edge, user-friendly camera and multimedia functionality. The PG-3000 is a slim - just 21.9mm thick - slider model, with a wide range of features, including a 1.3 mega pixel CMOS camera that also works like a semi-camcorder, supporting MJPEG files. The GF500, weighing just under 90gs, contains a 1.3 mega pixel camera and internal flash, as well as wide ranging multimedia support capability. Also on show at SVIAZ Expo Comm is the PG-3200, the world’s slimmest dual folder camera phone model. The PG-3200 weighs just 70gs, features a unique clamshell design and is focused on enhanced, user friendly functionality, such as the 300K pixel CCD camera, which is far superior in quality to other CMOS 300K pixel camera phones.
