ASIA : Andrew Corporation has increased its manufacturing capabilities and engineering design workforce in Suzhou, China, to better support customers with local production of base station antennas for current and next generation wireless networks.

Andrew's Suzhou manufacturing facility has been expanded by 40 percent, along with a significant increase to the size of the engineering design team that will increase support for 3G (third generation wireless) and TD-SCDMA (Time Division-Synchronous Code Division Multiple Access) technology deployments in China.

Andrew now produces in China a full spectrum of Decibel(R) base station antennas, including standard sector, omni, 3G single band, and dual/tri-band models. Andrew's next generation of base station antennas are fully compatible with Andrew's Teletilt(R) remote control electrical downtilt antenna system. All support the GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications), CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access), 3G, and CDMA 450 MHz technologies.
