Weighing in at a light 167g this camera houses features that punch above its weight. Encased in a stylish black metal body the W290 comes fully equip with Multi Face Detection, anti-blink reduction, red eye reduction, smile shutter for capturing those cheesy grins, face memory so you can pre-select the face you want to focus on, and HD output and HD movie so you can view your photos and films on a HD TV.
The Sony Cybershot DSC-W290 also features advanced Dynamic Range Optimizer technology. This technology works out the best exposure and contrast settings to give more natural images with clearer detail. This is especially effective when shooting backlit portraits or any scene with a high contrast between background and foreground levels.
