Canada : A large order has been received for a 3G LTE UE simulation system. The order was received by Dyaptive Systems for its DMTS-9200 LTE system tester ( above ) and is a multi million dollar order. Dyaptive Systems are a leading specialist in the field of multi-UE test systems for both 3G and 4G RANs ( Radio Access Networks ).
The 3G LTE System Tester ( Dyaptive DMTS-9200 LTE Network Test ) operates on the DMTS Series platform which supports LTE, HSPA+, HSDPA, UMTS and CDMA. The new DMTS-9200 3G LTE adaptation of the platform produces many thousands simultaneously active 3G LTE UEs per system and therefore runs thousands of data applications, MMS and VOIP sessions.
The 3G LTE System Tester can be set up to support sixty four sectors and can be configured to simultaneously support inter- Radio-Access-Technology handover scenarios such as eHPRD to LTE or HSPA to LTE.
Joe Sutherland, CEO, Dyaptive Systems commented "This order demonstrates the flexibility of Dyaptive's DMTS-Series in lowering the costs of deploying LTE test resources to groups of LTE test engineers working on complex LTE implementations, particularly packet-scheduler algorithms" "The Dyaptive LTE solution is again proving to be the most comprehensive, cost effective, flexible and easiest to use LTE test solution for development and verification engineers." said Sutherland.
The flexible, multi-user DMTS-Series platform allows multiple simultaneous testers to simulate single and multiple UE behaviour to test eNodeB functions and End-to-End System performance. In addition, the DMTS-9200 flexible framework allows users to test eNodeB Dynamic-Packet-Scheduler behaviour under complex call model scenarios. The Dyaptive system provides controls over UE capabilities, bands and 3GPP protocol versions to precisely model real world situations.
