Star Trek Goes i-Mode Wireless

Digital Bridges announced it has launched its first i-mode title - Star Trek® First Duty - with German mobile operator E-Plus. Now, i-mode customers can become a cadet at the Starfleet Academy and refine their skills in star ship handling and inter-galactic combat. The new entertainment offering from Digital Bridges marks the first time a Star Trek mobile game is available in i-mode anywhere in the world.

"Star Trek First Duty combines highly sophisticated gameplay with a globally recognised brand," said Brian Greasley, chief executive officer at Digital Bridges. "We're very pleased that this title is now available in an additional technology that allows mobile phone users to enjoy an exceptional new entertainment experience."

Star Trek First Duty is a challenging single player interactive adventure game where players enter the Starfleet Academy with the goal of progressing from rookie cadet to fully trained Starfleet Officer. The game is played over five levels, each with a series of lessons and tests that need to be successfully completed in order to receive a promotion to the next rank. Players graduate as Cadet Captain eligible to take up command of their own starship.

The i-modeÔ version of Star Trek First Duty features exciting colour graphics and brings the real Star Trek characters into play. A title that will whet the appetite of any mobile gamer in this universe!
