3G Mobile TV Company Gets Venture Funding

3G Mobile TV Company Gets Venture FundingIndia : A 3G mobile TV player has received its second round of venture capital. MiMobiTV which is developed by Apalya Technologies in India has received 3 Million US dollars from IDG Ventures and Qualcomm Ventures.

 

The company needs the funding to upgrade its product and services in readiness for the deployments of 3G in India next year. A number of telecom companies currently take mobile TV services in India from Apalya Technologies including : Idea Cellular, Vodafone, Tata Indicom and Airtel.

 

Apalya Technologies is already providing 3G mobile TV for BSNL and MTNL.
