Chinese Computing Market Gets 3G Mobility

China : Hojy Wireless has selected the ST-Ericsson TD-HSPA 3G modem to bring 3G high speed mobility to Chinese mobile customers. The ST-Ericsson M6718 ( see below for block diagram ) which is a Dual-Mode TD-HSPA / EDGE flexible modem will be used by Hojy Wireless to power smartphones, notebooks, USB dongles and 3G data cards.
ST-Ericsson's subsidiary in China ( T3G ) will act as the Agent to supply what is in fact the telecom industry's first 65nm TD-HSPA modem. Hojy modems based on the M6718 will be available in Q1 2010 from T3G via ST-Ericsson.
T3G completed the world’s first TD-LTE end-to-end application demonstration in February this year.
