Could The Palm Pre Sell More Than iPhone ?

Palm Pre

Europe: Research by TNS Technology has shown that more people will probably buy the Palm Pre than planned to buy iPhone. The figure is almost double infact, which bodes well for a successful launch.

The figure is even more promising when studying current O2 customers , with 27% keen to buy compared to just 17% before the iPhone launched.

It remains to be seen whether this study will be replicated in the real world ,especially when you consider that pre-launch awareness of the Pre is significantly lower than the iPhone. Anyway, the news is good for O2 and they can be confident of selling bucket loads of the Palm Pre.

The Palm Pre is set to launch in the UK this Friday exclusive to O2.

The exclusivity of the Palm Pre is a much needed boost for O2, having recently lost it’s iPhone exclusivity.

The Palm Pre is the first mobile to use the new Palm WebOS mobile operating system.

The Palm WebOS software enables you to bring contacts from multiple sources together into one place. Supported sources include social networks, email, phonebook and many more.

The Palm Pre also enables you to multi-task, thanks to it’s great software and powerful hardware.
