O2 Offer You Money For Your Old Mobile

26th October , 2009

UK : O2 have announced a new recycling service for old phones, which enables customers to get money for their “old” phones.

Estimates suggest there are over 90 million old mobiles unused in people’s houses across the UK and this service aims to rid the country of this wastage.

It’s not just mobiles that the service can deal with; it can also process MP3 players, digital camera, Sat-Nav and more.

The service is open to anyone, not just O2 customers and you can take advantage by visiting www.o2recycle.co.uk.

The service has been made very easy for customers. You simply visit the site and input your mobile details and then you will receive an estimated value. You then print off your receipt and a pre-paid postage back is sent to you and you send of your device and then the funds are transferred to your account.

You can also get the postage bags from the O2 store.

For every recycled mobile O2 will donate £1 to “Its Your Community”, which is a charity O2 supports.
