Real Time TV Channels for iPhone Users Over 3G

UK : A new mobile TV service has been launched for iPhone users which mean that users can watch TV directly onto their iPhones.

 

It’s nearly live but does have approximately a one minute delay as the provider processes and streams the data from the source to the iPhone.

 

The UK company, TVCatchUp looks like its had its Apple iPhone app approved for use ( head to iphone.tvcatchup.com ). Access to TVCatchUp can be made by 3G or WiFi via your iPhone and there is no need to register. You need to register to view over a PC via the internet but the service is free.

 

There are 30 channels available over the internet ( to your PC ). Currently 11 available over the mobile internet ( via your iPhone ). BBC1, BBC2, ITV1, ITV2, Channel 4, Five, BBC Three, Film4, E4, More4, and 4Music.

 

The TVCatchUp  distribution agreement only applies to the UK.
