US : Kempler and Strauss have announced the world’s smallest Watch-phone, the W Phonewatch.

Kempler and Strauss pride themselves in being at the forefront of mobile technology and with the W Phonewatch they’ve achieved that feat.

The W Phonewatch will be competing with other Watchphone such as the LG Watchphone , Samsung Watchphone and the Hyundai Watchphone.

The W Phonewatch has a multi-touch user interface, enabling easy use of the phone without the need for a stylus. It features an on-screen keypad for typing all your messages quickly and intuitively.

The W Phonewatch has blue-tooth technology, making it compatible with your Bluetooth devices, such as your hands-free-kit.

The W Phonewatch also features an MP3 player, which makes it a great device for playing your MP3’s. Obviously, you can put the device in your pocket instead of wearing on your wrist if you’re uncomfortable with wearing it on your wrist.

The device has a 4GB MicroSD slot, which enables you to store your music and photos. It also has a built-in camera, but the details of its specification have yet to be released. The camera will also double-up as a video recorder.

The W Phonewatch has been designed to gain additional functionality when used with the Kempler and Strauss communicator, which is essentially a blue-tooth headset that doubles up as a wireless receiver and remote control.

The video below shows a demo of the W Phonewatch.

The Kempler and Strauss W Phonewatch will launch Sim-Free and costs about $200 (£130)
