Live Streaming of 3GPP Compliant Video over the Orange UK Network

PacketVideo Corp. announced at the launch of the Microsoft® Windows Powered Smartphone that it has worked with Microsoft and Orange SA to deliver streaming and video content solutions via the Windows Powered Smartphones. By integrating PacketVideo's pvPlayerTM with the Windows Powered Smartphone software, PacketVideo and Microsoft are ensuring that operators such as Orange can offer consumers rich mobilemedia services and applications over today's networks.

At today's launch event in London, PacketVideo are to demonstrate streaming video and progressive download (FastTrackTM) over the Orange UK (GPRS) mobile network. The receiving device, an Orange SPV featuring PacketVideo mobilemedia software, will stream, download and play back video content.
